Why Some End-of-Season Medals Get Kept and Others Do Not

The one-year test

Every club hands out medals at the end of the season. A year later some are still on bedroom walls and the rest are gone. The difference is rarely the budget, and it is fairly predictable.

Specific beats generic

A medal that says nothing but the sport is interchangeable with every other medal that player owns. A medal carrying the club crest, the season and the player’s name is a record of something that actually happened to them. Engraving the back is the cheapest way to buy that.

Presentation matters more than you think

The same medal handed over in a bag lands differently to one presented by name in front of the squad. That is free, and it is the part clubs most often skip when the evening runs late.

Do not make the participation medal identical to the winner’s

If every medal is the same, the podium means nothing. A heavier, larger champion medal alongside lighter squad medals costs very little extra and preserves the distinction that makes both worth having.

Order early enough to do it properly

Most of the above needs a week of lead time, not a rush order. Production runs 2 weeks from mockup approval, minimum order is 12 medals, and your free mockup arrives within 24 hours.
